I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a private practice in San Francisco since 1998. I have counseled a wide variety of clients in community settings since 1983. I offer gentle, supportive, interactive counseling for individuals and couples.

Over the years, I have found that an integrated body/mind/spirit approach to psychotherapy can be especially effective in working with many difficult life problems. I have been trained in Hakomi (a somatic approach), Buddhist Psychology and Mindfulness Practices, EMDR, Emotion Focused Therapy for Couples, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.

As your therapist, I act as guide and advocate for the person you are capable of being. Together, we can build on your strengths and resources to discover what resonates deeply, and explore new more satisfying and joyful ways of being in the world.
