I am Jill McElroy, Marriage Family Therapist Intern and I can help:

As a therapist who believes that every person is capable of change, I offer a safe, collaborative environment in which to explore areas of your life you would like to improve. Stress, anxiety, depression, social inhibition, grief, are just a few of the impediments that can affect your relationships, your career goals, or your everyday functioning and can prevent you from leading a purposeful life.

I use several different approaches when working with individuals because I do not subscribe to a "one size fits all" approach to counseling. I honor the strength and courage it takes to pursue counseling and believe that making a decision to get help is the first of many important steps that initiates change.

My office is conveniently located in mid-town Sacramento. Weekend and evening hours are available and I am especially pleased that I can offer a sliding scale at this time.
