I am a psychoanalytically trained therapist with 30 years of experience treating a wide variety of individuals and couples. I don’t treat diagnoses or disorders. I work with people who are dissatisfied and unhappy with some aspects of their lives, and who have come to recognize that their difficulties may have their origin within their own perceptions or unproductive patterns of behavior. I work with adults of all ages who wish to feel more fulfilled, productive, and unhindered in their pursuit of happiness.

I am especially interested in, and have extensive experience working with older adults who are interested in resolving these kinds of personal issues as well as the health and other issues attendant to aging.

I also have considerable experience working with gay men and women struggling to confront and divest themselves of internalized homophobic feelings stemming from growing up and prevailing in a gay-unfriendly world.
