My framework in my clinical work is family systems theory. I aim to balance asking questions to learn about you and stating my viewpoint of your situation. 60% of clients---couples or individuals dealing with a couple problem. 40% are individuals dealing with stress, depression, addictions, or loss of self direction.

I have written a self help book for couples, Are We Having Fun Yet? in 1988. I have written 3 chapters on marital therapy for 3 professional books. I am in the 16th year of a 20 year study of couples and their multigenerational families. I have written 7 journal articles about the study.”
