I have provided individual and couple therapy for over 20 years. In this time I have gained proficiency in many therapy models. My practice is focused on work with couples and individuals addressing relationship issues. My therapy approach is oriented to present time and solution focused. This means that I am actively involved in the therapy session by providing feedback, assigning and reviewing homework, and making observations that will assist you in moving out of conflict and into collaboration. I act as a guide to help you learn and practice tools and techniques that will bring both immediate and long lasting improvements in your relationship. I make use of Emotionally Focused Therapy to help couples resolve conflicts and deepen their intimate emotional connections. I have trained with it's creator, Susan Johnson, (www.eft.ca).
