I see adult clients for treatment of depression, anxiety, loss and grief, whether that loss involves the death of someone close, job loss, relationship loss via separation or divorce. I also work with couples who are using therapy as a means to get objective feedback and alternative ways of coping with the strain in their relationship. In addition to these types of issues and concerns I also work with a large number of women who are mom's, new moms as well as seasoned moms who are searching for a source of self care as they navigate the role of a primary care giver. A fair number of the women I see are struggling with the debilitating symptoms of postpartum depression and anxiety.

I use cognitive behavioral therapy techniques which addresses thinking patterns that promote feelings and behavior that sometimes causes clients to feel depression, guilt, anxiety, etc. I will often provide clients with homework to complete between sessions to better utilize what is being learned in session in day to day life.
